A pale silhouette curls at the heart of a field of Prussian blue, its back arched and legs drawn in, as if caught at the very instant of its appearance. Revealed in luminous white where the body pressed against the photosensitive surface, the figure seems both to rise from the blue depth and to dissolve into it. Around it, splashes, grain and traces of water extend the movement and recall the water's edge where the imprint was taken.
