Juan Aizpitarte

Juan Aizpitarte is a contemporary Basque artist whose artistic practices span a variety of media, including photography, video, performance, installation and sculpture. His work often explores social, political and cultural issues through a critical and multidimensional approach. Combining narrative and abstraction, he questions human relationships, power structures and urban dynamics. Juan is distinguished by his engagement with the public, integrating participatory elements to transform the artistic experience into a collective dialogue.

Juan presented an exhibition entitled "Lux" at Sakana. It explored the theme of light, in both the literal and figurative sense, through photographs, sculptures and videos.

"Lux" was conceived as a meditation on how light influences our relationship with the world, transforms spaces and guides our interpretations.
