The body stands upright, straight, planted along the axis of the surface: a luminous white silhouette rising from the deep blue like a held poise. Arms down along the sides, shoulders level, the figure keeps its balance at the water's edge, without visible support, given over to light alone. Above the head, a spray of dark droplets bursts and falls back, a scattering of matter that answers the brightness of the body.
