The pale silhouette coils within the Prussian blue, one knee drawn up, the body taut as if caught at the tipping point of a movement. Around it, the light bursts into a scatter of white spray, as though water and daylight had printed themselves along with the skin. The figure seems to turn back toward the brightness, at the very instant the shadow gives way.
