Blurred Lines Ocean

Blurred Lines Ocean, indian ink on Canson 300 g paper, 40 × 60 cm. A dense weave of cyan lines in horizontal interference, shading from pale on the left to deep blue on the right. The ink is laid down in fine, tight lines. Their interference produces a moiré, with areas that look blurred although every stroke is sharp. The Blurred Lines series comprises eight ink drawings in the exhibition. The work is sold framed.

Rivage translates the elements of the shore into vibrating lines, grids and reliefs, without depicting the landscape. The work is on view in Rivage, Alex Bloc’s first solo exhibition at Sakana Gallery, Donostia-San Sebastián, from 2 October to 28 December 2026.
