Vibrations 2

Vibrations 2, paper cut-outs, 20 × 30 cm. Diagonal bands of bright cyan, midnight blue, black and white in paper relief, saturated tones, white mount. The diagonal bands are cut from paper, and the relief comes from the paper itself. Vibrations 1 and Vibrations 2 are the two cut-paper works in the exhibition, with the same composition of diagonal bands, one in muted tones and the other in saturated tones. The work is sold framed.

Alex Bloc’s works transform flat surfaces into reliefs or optical illusions. Here it is relief. In Rivage the shoreline becomes a space of transition, between stability and disappearance, geometric order and natural forces. The work is on view in Rivage, Alex Bloc’s first solo exhibition at Sakana Gallery, Donostia-San Sebastián, from 2 October to 28 December 2026.
